Salary: MPS/UPS – Based on experience

Supply Desk is seeking a talented and dedicated MFL Teacher to join an outstanding team at a school in Watford from September 2025. Whether your expertise lies in French, Spanish, or both, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to help students engage with the wider world through language.

This role goes beyond vocabulary — it’s about unlocking global understanding, building confidence, and creating opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering engaging MFL lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 available for the right candidate.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels encouraged to participate and succeed.
• Employing a variety of teaching strategies to address diverse learning needs and make language learning enjoyable, relevant, and impactful.
• Regularly assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress, using data to tailor teaching and support individual growth.
• Promoting cultural awareness through enrichment activities such as themed days, clubs, and international trips.
• Supporting the development of the MFL curriculum by bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the department.
• Fully engaging in school life – collaborating with colleagues, attending CPD sessions, and contributing to a positive staff culture.

Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish — unqualified candidates passionate about teaching languages are also encouraged to apply!
• Someone enthusiastic about language education and committed to high academic standards.
• A confident classroom practitioner who builds excellent rapport with students and fosters a culture of mutual respect.
