A highly reputable and award-winning Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join the permanent teaching staff of one of its large, successful secondary schools located in the London Borough of Havering.

As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking Trust, the successful candidate will benefit from strong professional development opportunities, access to a supportive network of MFL specialists across the Trust, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a thriving department.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching of at least one modern foreign language (French and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that inspire, engage, and challenge students
  • Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular enrichment activities
  • Support the wider aims and ethos of the school and the Trust

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • A degree in a relevant subject area
  • Experience teaching French and/or Spanish up to GCSE level (A-level desirable)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and global culture
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • The ability to motivate and support students of all abilities
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working as part of a team
