Overview

James Ray Recruitment are seeking to appoint an excellent Modern Foreign Languages teacher to work with a recent Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Manchester. We are looking for someone passionate about promoting a love for language to students inside and outside of the classroom and across the whole school community. This is a great opportunity for an established Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages or an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to join a committed team who share their passion and skills with students at all levels of ability and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish up to KS5 and French across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons and developing pedagogy to inspire pupils.
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a love of Modern Foreign Languages and creative ideas for developing teaching and learning.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Start ASAP on a long-term supply basis, working 5 days per week.

Ideal Candidate / Requirements

• Wants to transform children's lives and develop a love of languages, with a focus on French.
• Experience teaching GCSE French.
• Has a relevant teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT).
• Can understand and apply a range of teaching strategies and effectively target and support individual learning needs.
