Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Carlton to recruit a dedicated MFL Teacher for a position starting immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled languages educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students across KS3 and KS4.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in a UK secondary school.
• Minimum 6 months’ MFL teaching experience in a UK secondary setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for MFL education and student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality KS3 & KS4 MFL lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging language lessons to build speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Monitor progress and implement targeted interventions.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD and parents’ evenings as required.

Contract Type: Full-Time

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Rate: £130–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality KS3 & KS4 MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess interactive language lessons that build student confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
• Contribute to MFL department improvement planning.
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching MFL experience in a UK secondary setting.
• Is passionate about MFL education and inspiring student achievement.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life.
