A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Secondary MFL Teacher to inspire students in French and/or Spanish at a friendly secondary school in Barnet. The successful candidate will plan engaging lessons, bring cultural elements into the classroom, and support students of all abilities. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2025.

We’re looking for an inspiring MFL Teacher to teach French and/or Spanish at a friendly secondary school in Barnet from September. You’ll be helping students build their language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence to communicate.
The school has a supportive department, excellent resources, and a real passion for making languages relevant and enjoyable.
Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available)
Planning engaging lessons that mix speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Bringing cultural elements into the classroom to spark interest and understanding
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their language goals
Hold QTS and have experience teaching MFL in UK secondary schools
Can make grammar accessible and conversation engaging
Enjoy bringing culture into the classroom through real-world contexts
Believe in the power of languages to open doors

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
