Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented MFL Teacher (French, Spanish, or both) to join a dedicated Languages Department and inspire students to develop a lifelong love of languages. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an MFL Teacher:

1. Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5).
2. Promote high standards of achievement and enjoyment in language learning.
3. Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and language initiatives across the school.
4. Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
5. Foster cultural awareness and an appreciation for global citizenship.

Ideal MFL Teacher:

1. Holds a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Is passionate about languages and skilled in teaching French and/or Spanish (or another MFL).
3. Has strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young people.
4. Is committed to inclusive education and raising student achievement as an MFL Teacher.
5. Brings creativity, energy, and a positive approach to their teaching.
6. (Desirable) Has experience teaching A-Level French or Spanish.
