MFL Graduate Teaching Assistant (Spanish & French)

Salary: £25,000 per annum (term time only)

A top secondary school in Barking is seeking an MFL Graduate Teaching Assistant to support and inspire pupils in their study of modern foreign languages.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in Spanish and French lessons across Key Stages 3–5.
  • Deliver small group interventions to boost confidence and attainment.
  • Assist SEN pupils in accessing the language curriculum.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular clubs, cultural events, and international trips.
  • Act as a role model for language learning, sharing your expertise and enthusiasm.

This role will not only strengthen your own language skills but also provide a pathway into teaching and leadership within MFL. Many of our graduate assistants progress into PGCE or school-based teacher training routes while building a rewarding career in education.
