Provides advice on a specific range of products to a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide quality service to customers, identify opportunities to secure new business or support retention. Responsibilities include processing cases, dealing with complex queries, and resolving customer problems.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems to find the best solutions, which could be technical or professional.
- Receiving Visitors: Receive visitors and assist with various requests, referring complex matters to colleagues.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Schedule follow-up actions, enter relevant information into CRM after each contact to support effective customer retention and business development.
- Customer Needs Clarification: Set objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations, ask relevant questions to gather information, and evaluate customer interest.
- Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting: Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customers, build relationships with decision-makers, and facilitate effective communication.
- Operational Compliance: Understand organizational policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and conduct standards. Obtain approval for any exceptions from mandatory procedures.
- Business Development: Monitor sales and market data to identify areas for business growth.
- Sales Opportunities Creation: Build a network within the business sector, represent the organization at events, gather market intelligence, and enhance visibility.
- Data Exploration: Conduct research, select relevant information, and analyze key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
- Network of Influence: Participate in and contribute to networks of people, technologies, and ideas inside and outside the company.
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid Driver’s license and own car.
- FAIS Compliance (NQF Level 5 FSCA Approved Qualification).
- Clear criminal and credit checks.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in sales.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Presentation skills are advantageous.
