Safran Electronics & Defense in Wolverhampton is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technical Expert - Metrology Systems. You will act as the technical authority for manufacturing metrology across the Actuation business, leading development and deployment of advanced measurement and inspection solutions.

Qualifications

Significant experience in manufacturing metrology and inspection technology.
Experience defining measurement strategies for critical product characteristics.
Experience supporting NPI, APQP and industrialisation activities.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the manufacturing metrology strategy and technology roadmap.
Lead feasibility studies and validation programmes for metrology deployment.
Embed measurement and verification requirements in NPI and industrialisation activities.
Develop connected metrology solutions with MES and digital platforms.
