Job summary

Wipac Technology Ltd is seeking a Metrology Engineer to manage 3D scanning and measurement for new products at Buckingham. You will pre-develop measurement programmes and coordinate with the measurement technician to scan, report, and release drawings at each revision.

The role requires experience in metrology, proficiency with Polyworks, and strong analytical skills. Collaboration with Design staff is essential to optimise tolerance features and ensure part specification alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in metrology is essential.
• Ability to programme 3D scanning using Polyworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Pre-develop measurement programmes for all child parts.
• Scan parts and report measurements to release drawings at each revision.
• Provide CTS data and FAIR reports for mould parts.
• Work with design and tooling teams to optimize features and tolerances.
• Ensure accuracy of measurement reports across revisions.
