Qualifications

We're working with a busy manufacturing site in Rugby that's on the lookout for an experienced Metrologist to support inspection, calibration and programming on the shop floor.

What's the job?

  • Operate and program CMMs (VMM Mitutoyo, PCDMIS, COSMOS)
  • Carry out inspections and record data to meet quality standards
  • Calibrate gauges and precision equipment
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings and tolerances

What you'll need:

  • Solid understanding of mechanical tolerances
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings
  • Experience in programming and using CMMs
  • Hands-on calibration experience
  • HNC/HND (quality or engineering bias preferred, not essential)
