Job summary

Lyreco Group in Telford is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will be responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all equipment across our Warehouse and Offices, with a salary of £45k per annum plus benefits.

The role requires City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering, multi-skilled experience, strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated systems, and the ability to work shifts.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering.
• Experience with electro/mechanical equipment (electrical focus).
• Strong fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated systems.
• Knowledge of logistics equipment such as conveyors and packaging equipment.
• SIEMENS S7 knowledge/experience is a bonus.
• Experience with electrical installations (Distribution Boards, 3 phase and single-phase).
• Ability to work shifts and perform manual handling.

• Involved in configuration, installation and commissioning of equipment as needed.
• Contribute to maximising site efficiency by minimising downtime.
• Carry out maintenance work on building services as required.

Job description

Maintenance EngineerLocation: Telford Head Office BasedSalary: £45k per annum (+benefits)An opportunity has arisen to join our Building Services team here at Lyreco in Telford. Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all equipment in both our Warehouse and Offices.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be involved in the configuration, installation and commissioning of any equipment deemed necessary. You will contribute towards maximising the efficiency of the site by minimising equipment downtime, as well as undertaking any maintenance work associated with building services, as and when required.

It is important to us that for our Maintenance Engineer, we find someone who has:

• City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering
• Recent demonstrable multi-skilled industry experience of electro/mechanical equipment (with a higher focus on electrical)
• Strong fault-finding experience over electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated software-controlled equipment (Hydraulics being a bonus)
• Working knowledge / experience of Logistics equipment (I.e.: Automated conveyor systems and packaging equipment including AC motors, and inverters)
• Working knowledge / experience of Automated and PLC equipment (SIEMENS S7 knowledge / experience being bonus).
• Qualification / Working experience on Electrical installations (Distribution Boards, 3 phase and single-phase power supplies)
• The ability to work shifts
• The ability to undertake manual handling and physical activities.
