Sizewell C is seeking a Methods Engineer for the Enabling and Earthworks team on the Suffolk site. You will develop methods, assess temporary works, and coordinate earthworks activities within a safety‑critical, regulated nuclear‑influenced project.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience in an earthworks environment.
• Ability to produce constructability reviews/sequencing planning from start to finish of works.
• Understanding of complex and dynamic environments with focus on safety, security and environmental responsibility.
• Nuclear energy sector or similar regulated environment experience preferred.
• Engineering design, methods, contract and field execution strategies for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Produces Methodology and Risk Assessments and undertakes periodic reviews.
• Prepares Temporary Works Briefs, following up to ensure timely implementation.
• Considers buildability hazards and proposes sequencing / alternate design options to minimize delivery risk.
• Develops methods of work that take cognisance of current design, temporary works available and industry best practice.
• Identifies areas for innovation and ensures temporary works design is compliant and safe.
• Production / review / verification of earthworks quantities.
