Metering Scheduler
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid after training)
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: 6 months temp (potential to go permanent)

Multitask Personnel is proud to be working with a leading utilities provider specialising in the supply, installation and maintenance of gas, electric and SMART meters.

We are now recruiting for Metering Schedules to join their I&C operations team based in Cardiff, initially on a 6 month temp contract.

This role is all about organisation, problem-solving and communication. You’ll be preparing work schedules for engineers and subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and supporting the delivery of metering projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this could be a perfect fit.

What you’ll be doing
  • Scheduling work for field engineers and subcontractors
  • Prioritising jobs in line with contractual agreements
  • Supporting engineers and liaising with customers on availability and appointments
  • Maintaining databases and generating reports
  • Handling queries from engineers, customers, and suppliers
  • Providing general support across the metering delivery function
What we’re looking for

Additional Information
  • Initial training: 2–3 weeks in the office (3–4 days per week)
  • Hybrid model once trained: 2 days in the office (typically Tuesday & Thursday), 3 days from home
  • Interviews will be held via Teams (competency-based, up to 45 minutes)
