Job summary

IMSERV is seeking a Field Technician to cover the Oxford area, working on the road to install, maintain, and troubleshoot metering equipment at customer sites. You will report to the Regional Field Manager and play a key role in ensuring reliable energy metering services.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining meters, diagnosing faults on-site, programming and testing meters, inspecting connections for defects, and supporting complex BMS installations.

Qualifications

• At least 24 months’ experience installing single phase electric meters.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electricity meters (single phase, LV or HV as experience allows).
• Diagnose and fix faults on-site.
• Program, read and test meters and related equipment.
• Inspect meters and connections for defects or unauthorised connections.
• Support installation and maintenance of complex BMS systems.
• Complete job reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Manage van stock to ensure you have what you need.
• Carry out regular vehicle compliance checks.
