Here's what you'll be doing

Salary - £33,796 to £42,126 plus a generous individual quarterly performance bonus

E.ON's strategy to double the Industrial and Commercial metering operation within the next two years is well underway. As part of our expansion, we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our high performing, ring-fenced metering team.

We provide whole current, LV, and HV CT metering and communication solutions to our I&C customers across the UK.

We are currently looking for applicants with excellent customer service skills and proven experience in single-phase and three-phase metering. Roles are also available for LV and HV CT experienced technicians, with salary recognition based on experience and progression.

Responsibilities include
  • Delivering first-class service to our internal and external industrial and commercial customers.
  • Working on whole current and CTO metering installations and associated communication equipment, following our codes of practice and safe working methods.
  • Conducting site investigations, supporting accurate and timely billing for our customers.
  • Contributing to a culture of honest, open feedback, recognition, and continual improvement.
What we need from you
Essential
  • Live within Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, or Middlesbrough.
  • Experience in single-phase and three-phase metering.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to self-development.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Full valid UK/EU driving license (preferably clean, with a maximum of 6 points).
Desirable
  • Knowledge of single & three-phase domestic and commercial electrical installations.
  • Electrical knowledge or qualifications for fault finding and on-site investigations, including use of specialist test equipment.
  • Experience with HV and/or LV CTO metering (salary will reflect qualifications held).
