Job description

NRL are recruiting for aLPG Gas Technician for mainly metered estates work (central storage installations) on a permanent basis.

About the role:

  • Attending LPG Plants in commercial & residential buildings as well as the clients hubs.

  • Can be based anywhere in the UK - Role will be field based so would be stopping away up to 4 nights per week (meals / accommodation / expenses / travel time covered).

  • 40 hours per week (overtime on offer also) Monday to Friday work only with no 'on call' rota

  • Van provided

What is involved in the role:

  • Carry out installation tasks in a safe manner to ACS qualification standards.

  • Issue all relevant certifications required to sign off installations.

  • Work within the clients safety guidelines at all times.

  • Complete daily and weekly check sheets in line with Britain’s policies and procedures.

  • Adhere to Britain’s policies and guidelines at all times.

  • Conduct annual inspections of LPG vessels/installations and rectify any defects.

  • Produce parts lists to assist in the completion of defect repairs.

  • Install LPG vessels and underground P.E. distribution pipework using the electrofusion method of jointing.

  • Install and connect all types of meter box enclosures.

  • Perform required testing, purging, and commissioning, and issue certification.

  • Issue warning notices as required.
