My client in the Canterbury area is seeking a Meter Reader to join a dedicated metering team. You will install, maintain and manage meters for gas, electricity and water, planning routes and recording readings with handheld devices.

The role requires self-motivation, independence, outdoor work, and the ability to handle appointments while delivering excellent customer service and accurate data recording in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must pass screening and vetting standards.
• Provide a five-year employment history.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Live within postcodes CT1–CT17.
• Meter reading experience or ability to plan routes and manage appointments is desirable.

My client a leading provider of metering services within the UK energy retail sector require a Meter Reader in the Canterbury area.

The position involves working outdoors, often walking several miles daily, and requires a self-motivated and energetic individual who can manage appointments and work independently.

You will use handheld devices to plan routes and record meter readings, providing excellent customer service while working efficiently and safely in all weather conditions.

The role requires adherence to strict screening and vetting standards, including providing a five-year employment history and passing a DBS check.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

This is an ongoing contract paid at £12.81 per hour via PAYE.
