Meter Operative - Smart Metering (London & South)

Salary: £39,000-£41,000 + £3,000 annual bonus

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

Locations: Bromley (BR), Enfield (EN), North West London (NW), Romford (RM), South East London (SE), South West London (SW), Watford (WD), Bristol (BS)

Role overview

We're looking for skilled Meter Operatives to join a major smart metering contract across London and the South.

Depending on your location, you'll work on either:

• Single Fuel (Electric-only) meters, or
• Dual Three (Dual-fuel, including gas and three-phase electricity) meters.

• Visiting domestic properties
• Carrying out safety checks
• Installing, exchanging, and testing meters
• Recording all work accurately and in line with compliance standards

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Relevant qualifications:
  • EMI for Single Fuel
  • Gas Safe + Dual Fuel accreditation for Dual Three
• Previous experience in meter installation or similar field-based role
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
• Full UK driving licence
