Position Overview
Job Title: Metals & Mining Equity Research Associate

Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. We analyse relevant trends for the Bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultant for the Bank, its clients and stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality analysis and promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work in close collaboration with the senior analyst to produce high quality written research and analyse the industry and companies under coverage
  • Detailed financial modelling and data analysis
  • Provide expert advice to institutional asset managers
  • Build and leverage relationships with companies under coverage and industry experts, while also collaborating with the corporate access team
Your Skills And Experience
  • Educated to undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification/work experience, with additional financial qualification (Associate Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst (ACA/CFA))
  • Previous relevant professional experience either in financial markets (buy or sell side) or a mining corporate role preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in building financial models and using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong writing skills are a must, together with the ability to produce succinct and commercial research notes
  • A self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to time constraints
