Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in metrology and a strong background in metallic components? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Metallic Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest level of precision in the inspection and analysis of metallic components.

Please note this role is working on a Night Shift: Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and check parts for conformance to specifications and perform other metrology and analysis tasks, mainly focusing on metallic machining components used in Formula 1 manufacturing.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing technologies to aid in inspection of metallic components.
  • Use metrology tools and methods such as visual inspection, hand tools, programming and operating CMMs, Absolute/Romer arms, shadowgraphs, surface testers, and contour tracing machines.
  • Ensure timely inspection and processing of parts.
  • Communicate effectively with designers, manufacturers, and team members.
  • Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating organization and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Support in composite quality control if required.
Skills and Experience:
  • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with Polyworks software is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with high-performance metallic components, preferably in motorsport or similar industries.
  • Solution-focused, proactive, collaborative, and able to work under pressure.

Please note this role is working on a Night Shift: Monday to Thursday.
