Job description

Due to continuing success and growth, we are recruiting a Metal Fabricator / Welder. Working in a busy factory environment at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Antrim your main duties will be fabricating and welding high quality metal products for a range of extraordinary projects across the world. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately and with a first-class finish.

• Fabricating and assembling metal components.
• Responsible for carrying out a variety of welding types to high standards using engineering drawings and jigs.
• Complying with strict Health & Safety standards including PPE.

Technical Competence/Ability:

• Substantial experience of MIG & TIG Welding and stainless steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Fully capable of working with jigs, fixtures and hand-built fabrications to a high standard of accuracy.
• Ability to work with minimum instruction in terms of cutting and building up of box section components.
• Able to use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
• Operate machinery such as bandsaw, pillar drill, ring rollers, etc - experience of guillotines and press brakes would be advantageous.
• Dress welds and polish materials to a high standard.
• Good communication skills and good team working ability.
• Willingness to maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment.
