Job Title: Metal Assembler

Location: Leicestershire, LE4

Hourly Rate: 13.53 per hour

Shift: 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Metal Assembler to join their manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling metal components and products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble metal parts accurately.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, fit, and join metal components.
  • Perform welding, soldering, or brazing operations as required.
  • Inspect assembled products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with inventory control and proper storage of metal parts and materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Metal Assembler or similar role in manufacturing or fabrication.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
