An Additive Manufacturing Engineer is sought to join our client's team within the Buckinghamshire region. This role involves supporting the production of 3D printed prototypes and products in metallic materials. You will be managing the 3D printing process and overseeing client projects from the initial stage through to the final delivery of parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end additive manufacturing process (setup, materials, build platforms).
  • Perform hands-on post-processing (support removal, finishing).
  • Assess designs for printability and suggest modifications.
  • Prepare print-ready digital files with support structures.
  • Organise project timelines and allocate machine time.
  • Primary client contact throughout projects.
  • Assist with quality control (measurement, inspection).

Requirements:

  • 3D CAD software proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong teamwork and hands-on skills.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
