Job summary

Focus Resourcing Group is seeking a Semi-Skilled MET Technician for a busy automotive workshop in the United Kingdom. The role requires at least 2 years of MET or related automotive experience, with strong mechanical, electrical and trim skills.

Welding and fabrication experience is highly regarded, and a full UK driving licence would be advantageous. The successful candidate will join a team to perform MET work, assist in dismantling and reassembly, and contribute to paint prep and vehicle

Qualifications

2+ years experience in MET or automotive role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim work.
Experience in a bodyshop, workshop or accident repair environment.
Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out MET work to a high standard.
Assist with vehicle dismantling, preparation and reassembly.
Support general body repair and vehicle preparation work.
Undertake welding and fabrication where required.
Assist with paint preparation and spraying when necessary.
Work with others to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Carry out any additional workshop duties as required.
