Auto Skills UK in Winsford is seeking a MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician for a full-time, permanent role with an OTE of £60,000+. Basic salary ranges £40,000–£50,000+ DOE.

The position offers Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexible start times between 7am and 6pm. You'll work in a professional Bodyshop environment, carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim tasks on accident-damaged vehicles and ensure work complies with manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle MET or equivalent (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MET strip and refit work on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Replace damaged components and prepare for repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues following damage.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer methods and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and workshop area to high standards.
