The role features a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends and flexible working hours. The successful candidate will perform mechanical and bodywork repairs, fault-finding, diagnostics, and testing while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician within a professional accident repair environment.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostics, dismantling, and re-assembly skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately to high standards.
• ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
• Perform dismantling, fault-finding, diagnostics, and re-assembly operations.
• Replace parts as necessary and carry out vehicle inspections and testing.
• Identify faults and safety concerns, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Carry out road tests in a safe and legal manner to verify vehicle roadworthiness.
• Maintain high standards of quality, attention to detail, and communication throughout all tasks.
