Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is representing a reputable Vehicle Service Centre in Chelmsford seeking an experienced MET Technician/Fitter to join a busy team. The role offers a competitive basic salary and OTE, with hours Monday to Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Typical duties include diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles to high standards, identifying additional repair work, liaising with bodyshop staff and performing quality checks within a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• ATA qualification would be beneficial.
• Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to high standards.
• Identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Carry out quality controls.
