The role involves high-quality body repairs, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and working efficiently both in teams and independently. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience to ensure outstanding repair standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician is essential.
• Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level.
• ATA is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage as soon as identified.

I am currently working with a fast paced bodyshop group who are now looking for additional qualified MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician to join their busy site in the Washington area.

MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician job role:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• Mechanical repairs
• Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and as an individual

Requirements for MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician:

• Previous experience as a MET / Strip Fitter / Bodyshop Technician is essential
• Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
• ATA is advantageous but not essential
