Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a well-established Bodyshop group in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have a strong quality awareness and be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. This position offers a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE circa £60,000 and includes company benefits such as private medical insurance and a generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Preferably fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre.
• ATA qualification would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles.
• Identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor.
• Carrying out quality controls.

Job description

Our Motor Trade Client is a well-established Bodyshop group based in Walsall, and they require an experienced MET Technician to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.

Benefits:

- 40 Hours a Week ONLY (No Saturdays)!
- Up To £45,000 Basic Salary + Bonus

Typical duties:

- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards
- Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
- To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
- Communicating effectively with other team members
- Carry out quality controls

Requirements:

- Preferably fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- ATA qualification would be beneficial
- Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre
- Strong quality awareness, matched with a good eye to detail.

For your hard work as a MET Technician for our client you will be paid up to £45,000 with OTE circa of £60,000.
