MET Technician

Location: Dorking
Salary: Up to £23 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45 hours per week with additional overtime available
Extras: Bonus on target up to £8,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join their leading team. You’ll be repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications, using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques within a modern body shop.

Qualifications Required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ)
• You must have previous experience working in a busy body shop as an MET Technician or MET Strip Fitter
• You will have experience with geometry work and 4-wheel alignment
• You will work to the highest standard and have a solid understanding of current vehicle repair techniques
• Diagnostic training is essential, along with a strong team ethic and the motivation to earn bonus hours

Duties of an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow correct repair techniques and ensure all work is completed in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
