Job summary
An established industry player seeks an experienced MET Technician to join their busy Bodyshop group in Leicester. This permanent role offers a chance to work Monday to Friday, focusing on high-quality vehicle repairs. You'll be responsible for removing and refitting parts, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and ensuring attention to detail in every task. Our client, a busy Bodyshop group, is currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician in the Leicester area.
Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles as instructed
- Reporting unseen damage or issues not included in the estimate as soon as they are identified
- Maintaining a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Working effectively both in a team and independently
Minimum Requirements for a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:
- Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level
- Previous experience as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter
