Job summary

Falkirk Accident and Repair Centre is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a busy bodyshop environment in Falkirk. The role requires a Level 3 MET qualification and solid experience in a similar setting.

You will diagnose faults and strip/refit panels with precision, while maintaining safety standards and accurate paperwork. The position offers a competitive salary up to £53,040 with overtime potential pushing earnings beyond £60,000+, a 42.5-hour week, and a supportive team culture

Duties of the MET Technician:

• Strip and refit body panels, bumpers, and doors efficiently and to a high standard
• Use diagnostics tools to identify and repair faults confidently
• Work within a fast-paced bodyshop environment, either independently or as part of a team
• Complete job cards and related paperwork accurately and thoroughly
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company protocols
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure job quality and safety

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification as an MET or Mechanic
• Proven experience working in a bodyshop environment
• ATA accreditation is highly beneficial
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work with complex fault finding
• Ability to strip and refit vehicle parts with precision
• Confident in completing paperwork and job documentation
• Owns the necessary tools for the role
