A busy Bodyshop group in Dudley is looking for an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter. In this permanent role, you will be involved in high-quality body repairs, mechanical work, and vehicle rebuilds. The position offers competitive pay up to £19 per hour plus bonuses, along with a robust benefits package.

• Experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter is preferred.
• Potential candidates should have hybrid training and ADAS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit parts for body repairs to high standards.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage as soon as identified.
• Perform 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and mechanical work.

ATA MET Technician / Strip and Fit Vacancy:

Ref - 172493

- Paying up to £19 per hour plus bonus
- Group bonus available with possible OTE of £53,000
- Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
- 22 days holiday per year going up to 26 with time served, plus bank holidays.

Our client, who are a busy Bodyshop group are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician in the Dudley area.



Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
- To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
- 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work



Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

- Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
- ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
- Hybrid Trained
- ADAS Accredited
