Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) Park Royal is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our professional automotive bodyshop. You will carry out Mechanical, Electrical and Trim work on accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed to the required standard and within timescales.

This full-time, permanent role offers a basic salary in the £45,000–£65,000 range DOE and a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm schedule, with opportunities to develop advanced MET skills in a supportive team

THE ROLE

As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Mechanical, Electrical and Trim work on accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the required standard.

• Carry out mechanical repairs and component replacement
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults where required
• Remove and refit vehicle trim and associated components
• Strip and fit components safely and efficiently
• Support vehicle repairs following accident damage
• Work to agreed repair timescales and quality standards
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience as an MET Technician
• Proven experience within an automotive Bodyshop environment
• Strong Mechanical, Electrical and Trim knowledge
• Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods
• Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team
