Job summary

LA International is seeking a Messaging Engineer to design and implement a global M365 deployment to Microsoft recommended standards. The role is London-based, contract 6 months, with a daily rate of £400 and office-based working conditions.

You will transition and secure M365, federate identities, deploy Teams with video/voice, and provide guidance on Azure infrastructure. You will also manage incident/problem management and create SOPs in a global enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Expert in Microsoft Teams including video and voice capabilities.
• Experience deploying, migrating and supporting Exchange environments (Exchange 2016, Office 365).
• Strong knowledge of AD Federation, Hybrid services and identity management.
• Experience with M365 deployment standards and security/compliance tooling.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Vault or similar compliance tooling.
• Experience operating in a global organisation with large user bases.

Responsibilities

• Managing messaging services and performance metrics.
• Produce technical roadmaps for Messaging Services.
• Manage service level reporting and governance.
• Provide input to management on future product and service directions.
• Interface with management, business units, 3rd parties and support teams.

The Role

To design and implement a global M365 deployment to Microsoft recommended standards.

Gain sufficient knowledge on the environment and tasks to be performed:

• Transition and Securities to M365
• Federate and Securities to wider group
• Deploy MS teams including Video + voice into EMA and Securities
• Provide guidance on best Practice for Azure based infrastructure
• Project Support i.e. communication plan/ scheduling activities
• Provide an escalation path for administrators
• Incident management and problem management to include reporting function
• Update and create the standard operating procedure
• Ensure that system meeting existing regulations and eDiscovery requirements

Your responsibilities:

• Managing messaging services
• Produce technical road maps for Messaging Services
• Management of service level reporting
• Provide input to management to help assess future direction of product and services
• Interface between management, business, 3rd parties and support personnel.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Expert in Microsoft Teams to Include Video and voice.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Vault and Compliance Tooling
• Engineering of Exchange 2016 deployment and migration from existing Exchange 2010 together with knowledge of Office 365
• Design\Deploy and support existing messaging infrastructure to include BYOD iPhone\IPAD\Blackberry\Exchange\Outlook\Compliance tool\Enterprise Vault (Multiple sites as part of Global Org).
• Understanding of Lotus notes migration
• Expert in AD \Federated services\Hybrid services
• Ability to communicate effectively with a global org
• Process design, documentation & scripting
• Understanding of hardware design (SAN)
• Solid experience of delivering new services into enterprise environment
