Job summary

Nexus Jobs Limited seeks an IBM WebSphere Message Broker expert to administer and develop the broker environment. The role requires hands-on experience with WebSphere Message Broker v6 and later, WMQ, Oracle 10g/DB2, and familiarity with AIX and Linux.

The successful candidate will diagnose issues, deploy and support complex broker solutions, manage incidents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders in a service-delivery context.

Qualifications

• IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6 and later administration.
• IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6 and later development skills.
• IBM WMQ v6 and later administration.
• Database skills – Oracle 10g and later and DB2.
• Knowledge of AIX and Linux operating systems.
• Overview knowledge of Mainframe.
• Knowledge of Clearquest and Clearcase.
• Experience of technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain a Message Broker environment.
• Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments.
• Strong quality and service focus.
• Experience of delivering complex projects and / or incident recoveries.
• Experience of operating in a service delivery environment with good understanding of frameworks and processes.
• Proven systematic and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to implement effective business solutions.
• Excellent communication skills
