Job description

Mess Manager - Southwick, Hampshire

  • £34,327 per annum
  • 40 hours per week
  • 5 Days over 7

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the overall contract to ensure high-quality Food, Beverage, and Accommodation services across all areas
  • Deputising for the General Manager in their absence
  • Maintaining positive client relationships
  • Planning and organizing resources to deliver first-class service to clients and customers
  • Managing, recruiting, developing, and training team members
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Meeting financial targets and managing the contract's budget effectively

Our ideal Manager will:

  • Have previous experience in contract catering
  • Be experienced in leading and managing teams to achieve results
  • Have a proven track record of growing sales and retaining business
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be a strong leader capable of motivating and engaging teams
  • Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues, customers, and clients at all levels
  • Be quality and process-driven, focused on delivering results
  • Comply with company policies and procedures in line with client agreements
  • Be IT literate (MS Office, Email)
