Qualifications

• Experience as MESM Cat A2 or Cat B operator in submarine environments.
• Experience with submarine safety cases, hazard analysis, and ALARP-style risk reduction.
• Professional engineering status (Incorporated/Chartered) or working towards it; able to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce safety case documentation to underwrite submarine reactor plant operation.
• Support maintenance periods and lifecycle extension assessments for submarines.
• Contribute to safety and risk management across submarine projects and AUKUS-related work.
• Provide technical oversight to civil nuclear power stations during outages.
