Description: This job involves working with high-net worth clients, identifying their needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations that align with their objectives. The role requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and registration with the federal registry system, with non-compliance potentially leading to termination.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored advice through client reviews and presentations, assessing financial goals and recommending strategies.
  • Communicate suitable solutions like banking, investment, and life insurance products.
  • Partner with Financial Advisor teams to expand networks and promote portfolio growth.
  • Utilize bank resources to benefit clients or prospects.
  • Develop and grow a client base to meet financial targets.
  • Prioritize client requests and connect them with internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

This program offers training and mentorship to develop successful, independent financial advisors. It includes working with affluent clients, developing relationship management skills, and preparing for a career within Merrill Wealth Management. The role is based in a Merrill branch.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, relationship builder, effective communicator.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and incorporate regulatory due diligence.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven lead generation and partnership skills.
  • Experience in investment management and client development.
  • Strong computer skills, bachelor's degree, and professional designations like CFP or CRPC.
  • Insurance licenses are a plus.
