You will advise clients on achieving their financial goals and support them with personal investing tools and resources.

During this stage, the Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (Merrill FSA) will receive training and guidance through a defined path to become a financial advisor. You will work with both affluent and high net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing recommendations. You will develop relationship management skills necessary for an Elite Growth Practice (EGP). The role is based in a Merrill branch.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks. Failure to maintain registration may lead to termination.

Required skills:
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
  • At least two years in financial services or a sales environment, including investment knowledge.
  • Self-starter with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Ability to manage goals and prioritize tasks.
Desired skills:
  • Experience in lead generation and client development.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business.
  • Additional certifications like CFP or CRPC are a plus.
  • Insurance licenses are desirable.
