The position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks, with non-compliance potentially leading to disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored advice to clients, including financial goal assessments and investment strategies
  • Communicate suitable solutions for clients' financial needs
  • Partner with Financial Advisor teams to share market insights and promote portfolio growth
  • Utilize bank resources to benefit clients or prospects
  • Develop and grow a business book to meet financial targets
  • Prioritize client requests and coordinate with internal service providers

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

This program offers training and mentorship to develop into a successful independent financial advisor, working with affluent clients and honing relationship management skills. It prepares advisors for a career within Merrill Wealth Management, with opportunities to progress after demonstrating success in the role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66)
  • At least two years in financial services or sales with goal achievement
  • Minimum one year in investments with product knowledge
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship skills
  • Effective communicator and collaborator
  • Capable of managing goals and navigating complex environments

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven lead generation ability
  • Experience in investment management and client development
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business
