Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Ltd is seeking a Team Member for our Brighton venue. The role involves greeting customers, delivering friendly service, and contributing to a welcoming gaming environment. You will work a rota including weekends and Bank Holidays, with both daytime and evening shifts.

Full training will be provided to help you excel in a fast-paced retail/hospitality setting. We value excellent communication, reliability and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
• Experienced delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Flexible and dedicated to work both daytime and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain venue housekeeping to a high standard, including cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and note any suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administrative tasks to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are successful.
• Ensure customer service aligns with company standards and results in customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating as appropriate per the complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions according to policies.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to brand dress code.

Duties include but not limited to:

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.
• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
• To own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.
• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
