Job summary

MERKUR Slots in Coventry is seeking a part-time Keyholder to help deliver a warm welcome and great gaming experience. You will be responsible for opening, trading and closing the venue in the absence of the Venue/Assistant Manager, maintaining high housekeeping standards and handling cash with accuracy.

The role requires excellent communication, a drive to learn, and the ability to work on weekends and Bank Holidays. Benefits include 28 days holiday, a bonus scheme and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling sectors is required.
• Cash handling experience desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills expected.
• Must be flexible to rota including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open, trade and close venue in the absence of Venue/Assistant Manager.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for gaming areas and facilities.
• Issue change and manage cash floats per company procedures.
• Assist with bingo, catering or other duties as required.
• Payout for machine faults when authorised by management.
• Monitor customer behaviour and report suspicious activity.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards.
• Support promotions and customer service to achieve customer delight.
