We're partnering with a highly respected financial services organisation undergoing significant growth through acquisition. As part of their expanding corporate development and finance function, they're looking for an experienced M&A Finance Manager to play a pivotal role across the full acquisition lifecycle.
This is a rare opportunity to move beyond traditional due diligence work and take ownership of transactions from evaluation and deal execution through to purchase price allocation, technical accounting and post-deal integration.
You'll work directly with senior finance leaders, investment stakeholders and executive decision-makers, helping drive strategic growth across the business.

The Role
You’ll hold a key finance role across acquisitions and disposals, providing financial, accounting and commercial insight throughout the deal lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing quality of earnings, working capital and net debt positions
- Identifying accounting, tax, balance sheet and control risks within target businesses
- Advising on transaction structures and SPA accounting considerations
- Preparing acquisition accounting under IFRS, including complex deal structures
- Leading Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) assessments and valuation accounting
- Supporting fair value assessments of acquired intangible assets and goodwill
- Preparing robust technical accounting papers and transaction documentation
- Managing accounting for deferred, contingent and earn-out arrangements
- Leading finance integration activities following acquisitions
- Supporting Group reporting, consolidations, audit requirements and transaction disclosures
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Corporate Development and Operations
About You
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded qualified accountant who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine interest in M&A and corporate growth.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience within Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Audit or Corporate Finance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 3 and acquisition accounting
- Experience supporting acquisitions, transaction accounting or integration activities
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
Highly Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with Purchase Price Allocation (PPA)
- Exposure to valuation methodologies and intangible asset accounting
- Experience working within an acquisitive organisation
- Post-qualified experience within a Big 4 or Top 10 practice environment
