M&A Junior Associate

AJ Chambers is an award-winning specialist recruitment and mergers & acquisitions consultancy, focused on the Accountancy and Legal practice sectors, based in Rochford, Essex.

We are currently recruiting for an M&A Associate to join our growing team, focusing on the Legal and Accountancy Practice sectors.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our growth and presence in the legal and accountancy markets, working closely with our experienced consultants, recruitment teams, and extensive client network.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

Role Responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Administer our CRM system, Salesforce, including note-taking, adding contacts and companies, updating details, and managing distribution lists.
2. Conduct market mapping and create hotlists.
3. Make business development calls to book meetings for consultants.
4. Coordinate collection and sharing of information from clients for transactions.
5. Curate client marketing communications.
6. Handle client queries effectively.
7. Coordinate follow-ups with leads or clients.
8. Liaise with clients to ensure timely information delivery and maintain communication timelines.
9. Join client meetings and calls with consultants as required.
10. Manage LinkedIn profile content, grow online presence for AJ Chambers M&A offering and personal branding.
11. Collaborate with the Marketing Team on campaigns, content, and articles.
