Mergers & Acquisitions - Assistant Manager (4695)

Job Purpose

As a Mergers & Acquisitions Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for developing Forvis Mazars' M&A department by delivering high-quality services to clients, advising on disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings, and management buyouts. The focus will primarily be on privately owned mid-market businesses with an enterprise value up to £100m.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Research and prepare for new deal opportunities and pitches.
  2. Prepare transaction documentation such as business plans, information memoranda, and financial forecasts.
  3. Identify and approach potential buyers/sellers for clients.
  4. Manage aspects of larger transactions and oversee smaller ones.
  5. Support marketing activities and build your market profile.
  6. Build strong client relationships and address issues promptly.
  7. Show strategic vision and focus on long-term goals.
  8. Maintain control and stability under pressure, respecting deadlines.
  9. Present service features and benefits confidently to clients.
  10. Ensure services are appropriate for clients.
  11. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  12. Produce high-quality work in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Qualified to ACA level or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships.
