Job description

Role: Merchandising Coordinator
Salary: £30-33k
Location: Monsall

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Merchandising Coordinator to join a well-established and dynamic wholesaler. This role is integral to the merchandising function, ensuring the accuracy of product data, facilitating key administrative processes, and supporting cross-functional teams to drive business efficiency. You will play a key part in assisting the Category Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate and analyse data reports ahead of key trading periods to support decision-making.
  2. Compile branch order forms in line with category managers' product listings.
  3. Manage and maintain product data, including liaising with suppliers for essential information, imagery, and marketing assets.
  4. Complete and submit web data forms while coordinating with digital and social media teams.
  5. Develop presentations to showcase upcoming product ranges to internal stakeholders.
  6. Work closely with the product data team to ensure all system information is accurate and up to date.
  7. Provide administrative support to the merchandising department as required.

Key Skills & Experience:
  1. Previous experience in merchandising, buying support, or a data-driven role within retail or wholesale.
  2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems.
  3. A creative flair and eye for detail.
  4. Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
