Position Overview:

Merchandising Execution Associates (MEAs) perform in-store merchandising service activities such as merchandising projects, planogram maintenance, overhead organization, and display/signage maintenance designed to enhance the customer experience. MEAs execute merchandising strategies and ensure product is displayed correctly to drive sales and maximize inventory turns. MEAs work in teams with on-site supervision, and provide service to multiple departments in the stores. These associates execute approved general bay service, tasking, projects and resets safely, accurately and efficiently. MEAs must build and maintain strong relationships with store associates and provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Merchandising: General Service, Tasking, Packdown, and Projects
    Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, program service requirements and general service guidelines.
  2. Straighten, clean and merchandise product to ensure merchandise is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  3. Maintain copy of most recent planogram inside upright beam adjacent to product set.
  4. Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools.
  5. Maintain, order, and install display material/signage/brochures.
  6. Follow directions and processes to conduct accurate price and label changes. Replace incorrect, damaged, or missing price labels.
  7. Maintain aisle cleanliness.
  8. Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports. Read, interpret, and execute action based on findings.
  9. Maintain bay service records and other documentation as directed.
  10. Execute one-off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership.


Customer Service:

  1. Maintain aisle cleanliness so that merchandise is accessible and customers are able to move throughout the aisles easily.
  2. Partner with store leadership to markdown all damaged or un-sellable merchandise.
  3. Answer questions regarding the store and products for the customers.
  4. Partner with store associates to find necessary products to fit the customer's needs.


Other Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with store representative to conduct inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor.
  2. Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
  3. Complete assigned training curriculum.
  4. Other duties as assigned.
