Job summary

MR PORTER, based in London, is seeking a Merchandising Administration Assistant to support trading, merchandise planning and forecasting. The role blends in-office work with one day at home, in a Westfield London office.

You will generate delivery forecasts, produce performance reports and partner with teams to ensure timely deliveries, optimal stock and customer satisfaction. A strong eye for detail and proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and numerical ability to interpret data for commercial decisions.
• Proficient in advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting and forecasting.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet trading priorities.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate delivery forecasts to support planning, stock management and resource allocation.
• Produce weekly delivery and performance reports, identify trends and insights.
• Prioritize deliveries and workload to meet trading priorities and business needs.
• Manage supplier deliveries to maximise product availability and full-price selling opportunities.
• Coordinate with Trade, Transport and cross-functional teams on shipping, customs and compliance.
• Analyze returns data, resolve warehouse and delivery queries, reduce returns and improve efficiency.
• Handle delivery-related negotiations (late delivery discounts, cancellations, RTVs, SORs) and maintain stock records.

Reporting into the Merchandiser, you will be tasked with providing administrative support across all aspects of trading, merchandise planning and forecasting.
